The New 500P Defibrillator measures cardiac output accurately, using Impedance Cardiography (ICG) which gives real time feedback on CPR effectiveness. No other public access defibrillator has these important features & essential coaching capabilities.
The 500P will use both ECG and ICG measurements to analyse the effectiveness and rate of compressions given and based on this will advise the rescuer to push harder, faster or slower as appropriate. Feedback on the quality of the compressions applied is provided to the responder by means of audible and vocal prompts.
This improves CPR quality & effectiveness, provides advanced rescuer support features and strengthens the chain of survival. Other more expensive AED’s ineffectively measure depth & force to calculate CPR rates and use elaborate pad configurations which may lead to inappropriate pad placement & inaccuracies.
