Occupational First Aid Refresher

Course Details:

Recognized by the Health & Safety Authority, providing first aid courses nationally. FETAC level 5.

As required by The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 (S.I. No. 299 of 2007)

Programme:

Anyone qualified as an Occupational First Aider whose certificate is in date.

The new FETAC 2008 standard consists of 8 units listed in Occupational First Aid. Includes Cardiac First Responder training in automated external defibrillators (AEDs) as per PHECC standard and administering aspirin for heart attack patients.

This program is delivered as 1 day course by Certified Occupational First Aid Instructor from the HSA register.
