Sports First Aid

Course Details:

This course seeks to make sport safer through improving the first aid knowledge and skills of people involved in sport and exercise.

Programme:

The course covers basic first aid with an emphasis on sports related injuries, tailored for your sport which has been endorsed by a number of Sporting Bodies.

Half day sports injuries & Half day defibrillator training - full day sports injuries option available.

Includes Defibrillator training in automated external defibrillators (AEDs) as per Irish Heart Foundation standard.

This program is delivered as 1 day course by Certified OFAAA Instructors from the HSA register.

Groups of 6 or 12 participants.

Duration: 1 day

Assessment / Certification

Irish Heart Foundation Certification is valid for 2 years.
