This particular course is IHF certified and designed specifically for healthcare providers who want to have knowledge of what should be done when a person has cardiac arrest or is choking.

The BLS for Healthcare Providers course is specifically designed for healthcare practitioners who want to know what to do during cardiac emergencies and choking hazards. This IHF certified course covers patient assessment, identifying cardiac arrest and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for adults, children and infants. It also includes procedures on the use of Bag-Valve Mask and AED as well as how to handle cases of choking.

Each participant receives:

  • Handout
  • CPR mask

Course Content:

  • Patient Assessment
  • Recognition of Cardiac Arrest
  • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for Adults, Children, and Infants
  • Use of a Bag-Valve Mask
  • Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
  • Choking
