First Aid Response – Blended

Heartsafety Solutions became the first organisation in Ireland to be accredited by PHECC to run a ‘blended’ First Aid Response (FAR) Course. This novel tactic combines eLearning with conventional classroom-based learning, enabling learners to complete theoretical content at their own pace and practical segments in classroom settings. Online course engages learners through gamification and interactive examples thereby ensuring that they understand everything. Furthermore, this blended format satisfies all the PHECC “Education & Training Standards” by just utilising half the amount of time spent on traditional FAR.

The blended version of the First Aid Response has multiple attractions. The internet modules which consist of patient assessment, bleeding control, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and automated external defibrillator (AED) means that candidates can learn at their chosen speeds. This programme becomes great for busy professionals who wish to acquire essential life skills without enrolling into full-time lecture halls. We have designed our course in such a manner that it creates an immersive learning experience while bridging theory with practice. Incorporating elements of gamification makes online training more lively and effective for ensuring students are well-prepared for hands-on sessions.

Benefits from Blended First Aid Response:

  • Patient Assessment
  • Bleeding Control
  • Cardiopulmonary Arrest
  • Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
  • Choking
  • Head Injury
  • Unconsciousness
  • Medical Emergencies

Through adopting a hybrid approach to education we assure quality training that is both flexible and convenient to all participants who will come aboard us. It also equips learners with emergency handling techniques since it covers crucial aspects of first aid. Practical lessons are taken by proficient instructors who give students hands-on skills that enable them to apply what they learnt in other environments. Consequently, this full-scale training methodology breeds confidence among participants concerning the provision of first aid in the real world.
